We are pleased to present this wonderful violin to our customers. This handsome French violin has a two-piece book matched maple back displaying fine lateral flaming with medium deep optics. The ribs and scroll match, and the scroll is nicely and deeply carved. The top is very finely grained spruce. The varnish is a light golden brown color that has darkened with age, and is evenly applied. Restoration was done at LAVS and includes the installation of a new bass bar.
