Description
Christopher Savino has been making fine stringed instruments for over 35 years and began his career as a luthier in Cleveland, OH in the shop of H. Roth and Peter Horn. In 1982, Chris moved to Denton, TX to study jazz guitar at the University of North Texas. While in Denton, he opened a shop and made violins and guitars for 19 years. His numerous awards include Certificates of Merit for Tone from the Violin Society of America in 2010 and from the International Society of Bassists in 2013, and a Silver Medal for Tone from the Violin Society of America in 2014.
