Ming-Jiang Zhu, a highly acclaimed maker, has won numerous awards at international competitions. Of note, are the two gold medals won for violin at the prestigious Violin Society of America. His instruments are known for easy playability and superior response. Mr. Zhu has since won an impressive sixteen awards over the past 20 years, on the way winning an enviable reputation internationally which earned him an interview with Time Magazine in 1996.
Ming-Jiang Zhu European master models are made with European tonewoods, this model is exceptional for its beautiful tone, excellent depth, and tonal complexity. Top of European spruce with fine to medium grain.
